Monitoring & Evaluation Strategy for the Rwandan ICT Essentials for Teachers Course

To provide ICT in Education professional development opportunities for Rwandan teachers the ICT Essentials for Teachers course has been developed. The course has drawn on the UNESCO ICT Competency Framework for Teachers (CFT) to identify the relevant "essential" ICT skills. The course has also been rapidly and cheaply developed by using Open Educational Resources (OER) contextualised for the Rwandan context.

In designing the ICT Essentials M&E strategy it is important that monitoring and evalutation activities ascertain the extent to which the course's principles have been upheld.
