Case Studies on Integrating ICT into Teacher Education Curriculum in Asia

UNESCO Bangkok gathered case studies of pre-service teacher education programmes designed and implemented by TEIs from seven (7) countries, namely Australia, China, Republic of Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Viet Nam. These Education Technology courses are meant to equip pre-service teachers with the relevant knowledge, skills, and tools to appropriately and effectively use ICT in enhancing the learning experiences among students. It is hoped that this collection of courses, with varying treatments and focus areas, will provide readers with sufficient background and motivation to pilot or enhance their respective teacher education curriculum to better equip the next generation of teachers.
